Dates: Start date 01.12.2023 –  End date 30.11.2025

Project Summary

The main idea behind EUPULSE is to encourage young people to vote in the 2024 European Parliament (EP) elections in order to support the development of youth policies. EUPULSE seeks to give youth a voice in choosing MEPs to represent their interests in the European Parliament, consequently influencing policy decisions, by involving youth in the voting process. EUPULSE aims to promote youth participation in the democratic process and increase public understanding of the value of voting through a range of activities, including debates, simulations, and interactive events.

Through alignment with Youth Goal #9 and its objectives on “Space and Participation for all,” the project seeks to improve youth participation tools and open up new channels for young involvement in many societal sectors. With National Youth Councils playing a key role, EUPULSE promotes the active participation of youth and youth organizations in all project phases, including planning, execution, and assessment. A coherent and effective strategy to encourage young engagement and policy formulation in the EU will be ensured through cooperation between EU Presidencies, the European young Forum, and the European Commission.
