Project Description

The main goal of “insert Project title” project is a long-term partnership of thirteen towns of thirteen different countries with the common objective to improve conditions for the development of voluntarism in partner countries and across Europe. To achieve that partners will share information, practices, knowledge and expertise.With the project, we will present how volunteer programs can mean a great entry point towards active European citizenship for groups of people who are less active or even excluded from society.

And by showing that volunteer programs provide great results and very clearly express the impacts of active citizenship encourage European people to work and live by voluntary values.We will also show how sustainable and well-supported volunteer programs can positively address social and economic issues. Nine partner organizations will organize events in their countries others will participate in activities and events. Partner organizations will identify, validate, share and promote best practices of voluntary programs and also identify and point out the shortcomings in the area concerned.

Together we’ll spread importance, benefits and opportunities brought by volunteer work. They will review and share relevant data and information on how volunteering is regulated and supported in an individual country. All activities and results will be presented as promotional and dissemination content throughout and after the project. Throughout the project, we will extract the best findings and prepare a brochure with guidelines for building effective and appealing volunteer programs.COVID 19 note: We’ll implement the project activities according to regulations, instructions and recommendations of responsible institutions. There is also understanding between partners that the project activities will be adapted in case of escalation of the COVID 19 crisis (e.g. moving events to other countries, online participation, online activities).
