The project will apply creative and interactive techniques for raising media literacy. It will also foster the intercultural learning by indoor and outdoor activities in the intercultural groups, interacting with the local youth, visiting cultural spots, and learning about and discussing the popular media locally and internationally. The project will spread information about the European Solidarity Corps program, its goals, and objectives, specifically with focus on the multicultural learning.The objectives of this project are in line with the European Solidarity Corps programme, it promotes the youth participation, and active citizenship, improves the quality of youth work, and promotes intercultural dialogue, non-formal learning, and critical thinking skills.

The project promotes non-formal learning and concentrates on the ways of deradicalisation and building the intercultural bridges. This project aims also on supporting participating youngsters on identifying ‘fake news’, in online level. By analyzing and tracking this phenomenon, in accordance with the sharing of tools to young people on how to identify ‘fake news’ in online media. Youngsters will gain the capacity to identify the various ‘fake news’ which exist in the digital world.Additionally, it is targeting on empowering the critical thinking, of young people by sharing methods, on how to identify the sources of news, while not accepting every piece of information they confront with. On top of that, the project plans on strengthening the civic education competencies of the participating youngsters, by equipping them with the necessary skills to participate, in a more structured and informed way, in the democratic processes in national, European, and global level. The project promotes the values of diversity, human rights, intercultural dialogue and tolerance whilst enhancing media literacy, critical thinking and a sense of initiative.
