Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute is partner to the KA1 Training course «On the way to…» (info pack -on_the_way_to_project here) that will be implemented in Poland, from 19th to 24th October 2018.
The «On the way to…» project is a response to the needs of non-governmental organizations / informal groups dealing with supporting young people in becoming independent. We will focus on promoting and working on proper solution and tools to support youngsters correctly running the society. There is a need to improve the competences of employees and volunteers of partner organizations in order to provide greater, interdisciplinary support to young people. The aim of the project is to Improve the offer proposed to youngsters, exchange knowledge and experience to prevent the crime, early education finishing, unemployment, social degeneration. Creating an innovative, interdisciplinary set of good practices (social work, accommodation, international cooperation, influence on regional policy, etc.). The e-publications on supporting youngsters in their processes.
Equally important in the project is the improvement of staff competences, implementation of new practices as well as a greater understanding of social, linguistic and cultural diversity and greater sensitivity in the above areas.
Within the framework of the project training (6 days) will be organized in Ząb (Poland), in which 23 participants from 7 European countries (Poland, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Belarus) will participate, who are working with youth in the independence processon a daily basis. The methods used during the training will have the character of non-formal education.
The partners will develop an e-publication on the independence process of young people, constituting a set of tools and good interdisciplinary practices. E-publication will also be used as a support for employees starting activities in the field supporting youth in independence.
The project will contribute to the improvement of the quality of work of specialists who measure their actions with solving important and complex social problems, which in turn will translate into more effective work and greater efficiency.
